Avadh Ojha Sir is a UPSC coach. He was born on July 3, 1972, in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, India. He said that he was born into a very respectable family. He also said that the position he holds today is completely due to his father. His father was a postmaster.

When he arrived in Allahabad, 19 lawsuits had been filed against him. He told of an incident from that period when he had gone to see a movie called Charash. Someone slapped him in that cinema theater.

He claimed he witnessed the first gunshot of his life in the movie theater. After that he was in hiding for about 1 month. Many such incidents happened in his life.

He said that the turning point in his life was getting admission to Allahabad University. From there, he learned many things that are useful in his life today.

He said he moved to Delhi in 2005 and launched the usma coaching center.

He said he didn’t have any money when he was in Rishikesh. But his father used to come to him for 7 months and give money. He used to tell his father if you think I will go home and do MBA to earn money and take care of you in old age then you are wrong. Then his father used to say that you are wrong and I will come to give you money as long as I live.

Avadh Ojha completed his schooling from Fatima school, Gonda. For higher education he went to Allahabad for one year. His parents wanted him to study medicine but he was not particularly interested in the medical line so he dropped out.He said it cost 5-6 lakh rupees and 4-5 years to prepare for his IAS.
